The Miss Kentucky Scholarship Pageant's Bluegrass Princess Program for young ladies ages six to twelve has been
so successful that we are now adding a Bluegrass Prince Program for young gentlemen ages five to twelve (as of June
9th). The Miss Kentucky's Outstanding Teen Pageant contestants will serve as mentors to the Bluegrass Princes by
promoting self-esteem, scholastic achievement, good manners and healthy choices. All Bluegrass Princes will participate
in some aspect of the stage production at the Miss Kentucky's Outstanding Teen Pageant in June.
The Princes will have the opportunity as provided by the local pageant director and local titleholder to be a part of
the titleholder's year of service. The local titleholder is encouraged to engage her Prince in any activity that
she can to make him feel part of her year of service as she prepares for the Miss Kentucky's Outstanding Teen Pageant,
as she represents her local pageant at various events throughout the year and as she promotes her platform and community service.
