** The Miss America Send-Off Party for Miss Kentucky, Emily Cox,
will be held at 7 PM on Friday, January 9th at Sawyer's Bar & Grill (325 W Main Street) in Lexington. Please join
the Miss Kentucky Organization in wishing Emily the best as she represents our state in the Miss America Pageant to be held
in Las Vegas January 20 - 24.**
**Miss America: Countdown to the Crown will be broadcast on TLC beginning Friday, January 2nd at 10 PM. This reality
series will air every Friday night leading up to the Miss America Live! finals to be broadcast live on TLC Saturday,
January 24th at 8 PM (EST).**

The 2009 Miss Kentucky Pageant will be held July 16-18 at the Singletary
Center for the Arts in Lexington.
Miss Kentucky Orientation will be May 15 & 16 and the Miss Kentucky
Gala will be May 16.
More details will be posted when plans are finalized.
